Job summary

Webster Trucks in Derwent Park, Tasmania, is offering a 2027 Apprentice Intake for an Apprentice Diesel Technician. The role includes hands-on training while completing the AUR31120 Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.

You will learn on heavy vehicles with OEM and in-house guidance. You’ll gain experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing vehicles, using specialised tools and diagnostic software, in a safe workshop.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology required.
• Apprentice will learn to use diagnostic tools and OEM software.
• Commitment to safety and ongoing learning is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with servicing, diagnosing, and repairing heavy vehicles.
• Learn to use diagnostic tools, specialised equipment, and OEM software.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
• Follow workshop processes and manufacturer guidelines.
• Collaborate with the team to meet service deadlines.
