Wests Illawarra is seeking a 1st or 2nd year Apprentice Chef to work across Craft Café, Artisan Restaurant, Port Kembla Golf Club functions and Wilbur smoker. This hands-on role offers learning from a creative catering team and opportunities to contribute to menu development while training in all kitchen areas.

You will follow the Head or Sous Chef, maintain cleanliness, support food prep, and handle work under pressure on a rotating roster including weekends and nights.

Competenze

• Hands-on kitchen role with diverse venues including Craft Café, Artisan Restaurant, Port Kembla Golf Club functions and Wilbur smoker.
• Becoming proficient across pans, grill, fryers, dish and pass under supervision.

Mansioni

• Prepare food for cooking.
• Clean food preparation areas and equipment.
• Check food to ensure quality.
• Carry out tasks as directed by Head or Sous Chef.
