Wild Canary is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Chef for a DIDO camp role at Coppabella. You will train under a Senior Chef, learn bulk cooking in a camp environment, and aim to complete a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.

All meals and camp facilities are included, with a clear path to a long-term career in industrial catering. You must have a passion for food, be a team player, and be prepared to travel to Coppabella camp.

Qualifications

• Current 1st or 2nd-year Apprentice Chef status with a genuine passion for food.
• Food Handling Certificate is required.
• Attitude: A positive mindset, strong willingness to learn, and a true team-player spirit.
• Skills: Good customer service skills and excellent organizational habits.
• Presentation: Presentable, clean, and professional appearance on the floor.
• Logistics: Ability to manage DIDO travel to Coppabella camp.

Responsibilities

• Work closely on the floor with our Senior Chef to master your trade.
• Assist in preparing high-quality meals to support camp kitchen requirements.
• Maintain strict food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Interact positively with camp residents, delivering great customer service.
