Job summary

dnata Catering & Retail, in partnership with MEGT, offers Apprentice Chef opportunities across Australia. Learn from industry professionals while earning an income and gaining a nationally recognised qualification through TAFE.

You'll work with experienced culinary teams to develop skills in meal preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety, with a view to building a long-term career in hospitality.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for cooking and the hospitality industry.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
• The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and rotating rosters when required.
• Reliable transport to travel to work and TAFE.
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
• The ability to obtain a clear National Police Check.
• Certificate I or II in Hospitality (desirable but not essential).
• Previous kitchen or hospitality experience (desirable but not essential).

Responsibilities
