Ashcroft Construction Pty Ltd is seeking Apprentice Carpenters (1st year to 4th year) for a full-time apprenticeship based in the northern suburbs. Learn carpentry skills from experienced professionals in a supportive and practical working environment, contributing to construction and carpentry projects on site.

You will work with skilled tradespeople, develop hands-on expertise, and progress through on-the-job and off-the-job training with industry-standard wages.

Qualifications

• School leaver or equivalent qualification with an interest in carpentry.
• Must be at least 15 years of age for eligibility.
• Strong willingness to learn under the guidance of experienced tradespeople.
• Good physical fitness for manual labour and heights where required.
• Basic numeracy and literacy to read plans and take measurements.

Responsabilités

• Assist experienced carpenters with preparation, measurement and cutting of timber and materials.
• Learn and apply safe work practices on site and handle tools safely.
• Support frame, Lock up and Fixing including installation of door frames, windows, decks and pergolas.
• Maintain a clean, organised work area with proper tool storage.
• Attend on-the-job training and complete required off-the-job training.
• Follow site instructions, WHS regulations and company policies.
• Develop problem-solving skills and work collaboratively as part of a construction team.
