Job summary

Civardi Furniture in Sydney's NSW invites applications for its new year intake of 1st year Cabinet Making (Furniture) Apprentices. The four-year program runs with our in-house training alongside ACFA, focusing on hands-on learning in factory and on site.

Apprenticeship provides all tools, safety gear and a uniform. We welcome school leavers, Year 12 students and applicants of all ages, aiming to start after exams or holidays.

Qualifications

• Year 12 students or school leavers are encouraged to apply.

Job description

Civardi Furniture is an Australian joinery manufacturer that specialises in high end custom commercial and residential fitouts.

Our purpose built factory at Rydalmere features state of the art machinery, spacious, organised workspaces and great staff amenities.

We are pleased to be recruitingour new year intake of 1st year Cabinet Making (Furniture) Apprentices.

The apprenticeship is run as 4 year program and will involve undertaking our in-house apprentice program in conjunction with our RTO (ACFA), which puts the focus on training and providing experiences across all aspects of the cabinet making trade, in the factory and on site.

We are looking for candidates who:

• have a keen interest in furniture, timber and joinery
• are physically fit and like hands on work
• have a willingness to learn and build their career by obtaining their trade certificate
• have a positive attitude andgood work ethic
• are able to work in a team

You will learn from highly skilled tradespeople and work on some of Sydney's most high profile joinery projects. We also provide you with all necessary tools, safety gear and uniform.

We welcome all applications and are interested in speaking with Year 12 students, school leaversas well as applicants of all ages, gender and indigenous applicants.

We are flexible with start date, looking to start apprentices after completion of exams or holidays for HSC students or in the new year.
