Job summary

TRS Resourcing is seeking an Apprentice Boilermaker in Sydney for a full-time apprenticeship opportunity. You'll work in a busy workshop, learning MIG welding, fabrication and reading engineering drawings, while gaining practical exposure alongside experienced tradespeople.

Ideal candidates are hands-on, reliable, safety-focused, and committed to completing their trade qualification with full Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Interest in becoming a Trade Qualified Boilermaker
• Willingness to learn welding and fabrication techniques
• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual with safe work habits
• Has full Australian working rights

Responsibilities

• MIG welding and general fabrication
• Measuring, marking out and preparing materials
• Cutting, drilling and grinding
• Assisting with fabrication and assembly
• Learning to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Using hand and power tools safely
• Developing welding and fit-up techniques
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Following workshop procedures and instructions
• Assisting qualified tradespeople with day-to-day production requirements
