Job summary

Woolworths Group on the Gold Coast is offering a permanent Apprenticeship as a Retail Baker, with immediate start. You will learn to produce a variety of breads, receiving hands-on training and support to develop your craft.

You will complete the 3-year program with on-the-job and off-the-job training, attend TAFE classes, and gain real-world experience in a team‑oriented environment within a major Australian retailer.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship to complete Certificate III in Retail Baking (Bread) over 3 years.
• Interest in learning the bakery trade and creating fresh bakery products.

Responsibilities

• Greet, acknowledge and thank customers in-store.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards.
• Learn skills to become a qualified Retail Baker and complete on/off-the-job training.
• Attend TAFE classes and complete assessments.
