Job summary

Woolworths Group in Australia is offering an apprenticeship for a Retail Baker (Bread). You will complete the Certificate III in Retail Baking (Bread) over three years, learning to produce and bake a variety of breads using bakery equipment and machinery.

Join an engaging, inclusive team and gain real-world experience while you attend TAFE classes and complete all assessments. You'll develop practical skills and grow toward a qualified Baker with ongoing support and progressive training.

About The Role

Bringing bread to life, you’ll enjoy the support to prove your passion and learn your craft.
You will complete an Apprenticeship - Certificate III in Retail Baking (Bread) and be trained on how to produce and bake a variety of breads using baking equipment and machinery over a 3 year period.

What You'll Do

• Greet, acknowledge, show care and thank our customers for shopping at Woolies
• Stick to our policies and procedures to ensure we keep ourselves, each other and our customers safe including looking out for and reporting any hazards
• Work with a diverse range of people in an industry facing rapid change, you’ll gain real-world experience and grow as a person
• Learn the skills and gain experience to become a qualified Retail Baker
• Complete the 3 years with on and off-the-job training
• Attend all TAFE classes and complete all assessments
• Practice on the job
