Job summary

Black Toyota Oakey is seeking an Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our Service Department. This is a full-time opportunity offering an hourly rate plus commission, a Monday to Friday roster, and structured trade training with one of Australia's most recognised automotive brands.

You'll work alongside experienced Toyota technicians and a long-tenured leadership team to gain hands-on experience while completing your automotive trade qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with servicing, inspections and basic repairs under supervision.
• Learn diagnostic procedures, workshop systems and Toyota manufacturer standards.
• Complete required trade training and coursework.
• Maintain tools, work areas and safety standards.
• Support the workshop team with daily operations.
• Develop practical skills across vehicle maintenance, fault finding, and repairs.
