Job summary

Scania Australia is offering an apprenticeship to become a qualified Auto Electrician. You will train while working on a world-leading brand that focuses on sustainability, with PPE provided and access to the latest engine technology.

Your day-to-day includes learning electrical diagnosis, repairs and servicing of Scania vehicles under supervision, with structured training and the chance to complete your apprenticeship in three years, including off-the-job training at local TAFE and Scania

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship pathway in auto electrical field.
• Willingness to learn and commit to training.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Technicians and learn electrical diagnosis, repairs and servicing of vehicles during the Apprenticeship.
• Complete all documentation relating to job processes and schooling.
• Perform repairs and service under supervision within advised timeframes.

Your Day-to-Day

This role is responsible for successfully gaining the knowledge and skills to effectively and efficiently diagnose, service and repair Scania products and being willing to learn and provide the highest level of service to both external and internal customers for service and repair.

• Assist Technicians and learn to perform electrical diagnosis, repairs and service of vehicles and equipment during the Apprenticeship
• Complete all documentation relating to the assigned job processes and schooling
• Perform repairs and service of vehicles and equipment, under supervision within advised timeframes, within your skill level, experience, training and capability
