Job summary

Scania Australia in Sydney invites applicants for an apprenticeship to diagnose, service and repair Scania engines and vehicles. You will learn under experienced technicians, complete hands-on training and build skills in electrical diagnosis, servicing and troubleshooting across a range of heavy trucks.

This program includes PPE, off-the-job training at local TAFE and Scania Training Centre, and a fast-track 3-year apprenticeship.

Your Day-to-Day

This role is responsible for successfully gaining the knowledge and skills to effectively and efficiently diagnose, service and repair Scania products and being willing to learn and provide the highest level of service to both external and internal customers for service and repair.

• Assist Technicians and learn to perform electrical diagnosis, repairs and service of vehicles and equipment during the Apprenticeship
• Complete all documentation relating to the assigned job processes and schooling
• Perform repairs and service of vehicles and equipment, under supervision within advised timeframes, within your skill level, experience, training and capability
