Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an AWS Specialist Solutions Architect in Australia. The role requires deep domain expertise to craft scalable, resilient cloud architectures and to guide customers with complex challenges, including refactoring applications or designing new systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
• Knowledge of AWS services
• Experience with AI/ML technologies is a plus
• Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to GTM teams to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.
• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re:Invent, etc.
• Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best in class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.
