VGW is seeking an Application Support Specialist in Perth to bridge the Service Desk and Systems Administration, overseeing application packaging, SaaS integrations and end-user compute management.

You will mentor the IT Services team, review SaaS app renewals, ensure secure integration methods, and collaborate with global security stakeholders to align endpoint configurations with governance standards.

• Proven experience with Microsoft Intune (MDM/UEM) and software deployment.
• Experience managing SaaS platform integrations in a cloud-first environment.
• Background as a Senior Service Desk Analyst, EUC Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor team members.
• Familiarity with enterprise apps (Okta, Slack, Atlassian) and cybersecurity basics.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Technology team in Perth and are currently looking for an Application Support Specialist to join the team.

In this role you will act as a key technical bridge between Service Desk and Systems Administration, overseeing application packaging, SaaS integrations, and end-user compute management while empowering the wider team.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Application packaging, configuration, and deployment across end-user devices using Microsoft Intune and UEM platforms.
• Reviewing and supporting incoming and renewing SaaS applications to ensure integration methods remain secure and reliable.
• Serving as an escalation point for complex technical issues while mentoring and upskilling the broader IT Services team.
• Collaborating with cross-functional global teams and security stakeholders to align endpoint configurations and change management with governance standards.

What You Will Bring To The Role

• Proven experience with Microsoft Intune (MDM/UEM), application packaging, and software deployment.
• Hands-on experience managing and supporting SaaS platform integrations within a cloud-first environment.
• Background as a Senior Service Desk Analyst, EUC Engineer, or similar technical role within an MSP or cloud-based organisation.
• Strong communication skills with a track record of mentoring team members and translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Practical exposure to enterprise application management (e.g. Okta, Slack, Atlassian) and awareness of cybersecurity best practices.
