Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking an Appian BPM Lead to design, develop, and lead the implementation of Appian-based BPM solutions for enterprise clients in Sydney. This on-site contract role requires collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate needs into technical designs, and oversee end-to-end delivery.

You will configure Appian applications, integrate with APIs and databases, and guide development teams to ensure performance, security, and quality.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Appian BPM, including application design, development, configuration, and deployment.
• Proficiency in process modeling, workflow optimization, and automation of business processes.
• Experience with integration of Appian with APIs, databases, and external enterprise systems.
• Ability to lead technical teams, provide guidance on best practices, and conduct code and design reviews.
• Knowledge of SDLC, agile methodologies, and DevOps concepts.
• Experience with performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting Appian applications in production environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and quality.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including requirement gathering and documentation.
• Relevant Appian certifications and experience in large-scale enterprise projects are highly beneficial.

Role Description

The Appian BPM Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, and leading the implementation of Appian-based business process management solutions for enterprise clients. This is a contract, on-site role located in Sydney requiring close collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical designs, and oversee end-to-end solution delivery. Day-to-day tasks include configuring Appian applications, integrating with external systems, optimizing workflows, and ensuring performance, scalability, and security standards are met. The Appian BPM Lead will guide and mentor development teams, enforce best practices, and participate in code reviews and quality assurance activities. The role also involves supporting deployment activities, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of BPM processes and methodologies.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including requirement gathering and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant Appian certifications (e.g., Appian Certified Associate/Lead Developer) and experience in large-scale enterprise projects are highly beneficial.
