Target Australia is seeking a Creative Design Assistant Apparel to support the design team in shaping handwriting, taste levels and product desirability. You will collaborate with designers, attend fittings, and help develop new styles that excite customers and drive incremental sales.

The role requires a tertiary design qualification with 2+ years of experience in graphic design or related fields, and proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD, and LAB dips, plus MS Office.

Qualifications

• Requires tertiary design qualification and 2+ years in graphic design, surface pattern, illustration design or similar.
• Experience in a specialty retail environment preferred.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD and LAB dips, plus MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Support designers to drive handwriting, taste levels and product desirability.
• Attend fittings with Designer and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Develop new styles and coordinate with suppliers on development and approvals.
• Create accurate tech packs and briefs; provide technical drawings when needed.
