APG & Co. is seeking an Assistant Concession Manager for Sportscraft and JAG at the MYER Perth store.

You will support the Concession Manager to drive performance across multiple concession pads, delivering exceptional customer service and coaching the team. This role focuses on sales, visual merchandising, rostering, stock control, and loss prevention while maintaining brand presentation and a safe, engaging store environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Concession Manager in influencing Myer store relationships to prioritise brands.
• Lead and develop the team, manage rostering, stock, loss prevention and safety.

About the Role

Support the Concession Manager to drive our brands’ performance across multiple concession pads in Myer. You will do this through the key areas of sales, people support, visual merchandising/brand presentation, rostering and labour awareness, and customer experience.

As an Assistant Concession Manager, you will act as a brand ambassador for all our brands, supporting and motivating your team to provide exceptional and personalised customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting sales and rankings across all brands and pads, constantly monitoring, tracking and responding
  • Personally drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service to lead by example
  • Support the team to ensure KPIs and sales targets are met
  • Commercial awareness of customer profile, product lines and competitor activity
  • Use available data and reports to support decision-making for the business and the customer
• Build strong working relationships and communicate regularly with Myer store and floor management teams
  • Work collaboratively with other concessions to ensure the best customer experience
  • Support the Concession Manager in influencing Myer store, floor and operations management relationships to ensure brands are prioritised and well respected by the entire Myer business
• Team support and day-to-day leadership
  • Support the team in delivering store operations excellence through effective stock management and loss prevention activities
  • Assist in attracting, engaging and retaining talent, helping build team capability
  • Promote a safe place to work for team members and all store visitors, with a focus on wellbeing
  • Support a performance culture through encouraging leadership
  • Assist with recruitment, induction and training as required
  • Support coaching and development of team members through regular feedback and performance conversations
  • Promote team member retention and succession planning

• Deliver exceptional customer experience through on brand teams & product knowledge
  • Support coaching and provide feedback to the team on product knowledge and delivering a customer-led experience
  • Maintain an up to date level of product knowledge ensuring you share your passion and insights with your customers and your team
  • Assist in maintaining grooming standards to brand expectations
  • Understand the brand and business strategy and support the team play their part in delivering
  • Assist in the resolution of customer queries and complaints
• Support visual merchandising and pad presentation in line with each brand’s standard
  • Pads and product to be merchandised and styled according to brand guidelines and VM direction
  • Aware of top sellers and manage stock levels
  • Ensure promotional and tactical merchandising and ticketing is completed as per directives and on time for all brands
• Operations, planning and administration
  • Support the Concession Manager in maintaining an effective store roster that meets customer and team needs
  • Ensure all business communication is acted upon on time and effectively shared with the team
  • Support the implementation of new business initiatives
  • Assist with stock control and management
  • Loss prevention / theft awareness
  • Compliance with APG & Co and Myer policies, procedures and processes
