Job summary

NeoXam Australia is expanding its APAC team and seeks an experienced Technical Support & Cloud Consultant to support APAC clients, presales, and services, with base in Sydney or Melbourne. You’ll liaise with HQ in France, manage APAC support, and collaborate with Singapore and India teams to optimize NeoXam solutions.

You will handle first-line analysis, drive fixes in Java, and document Datahub features while mentoring the APAC support team and coordinating cloud migrations.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or Master’s in a relevant field.
• 4–6 years in financial software implementation or IT projects.
• Experience with XML APIs, web services and application servers.

Responsibilities

• Be the liaison of the software development teams in France HQ and manage APAC support.
• Be the first technical contact for APAC clients and provide product support expertise.
• Support sales consultancy during the sales phase and project implementation.
• Manage internal copies of client environments.
• Perform first-level analysis: anomalies, evolutions, reproduction of problems.
• Resolve client issues from first analysis to Java fixes and ticket management.
• Document Datahub knowledge from a support perspective.
• Oversee day-to-day APAC Support tickets and conference calls.
• Coordinate performance optimization requests with R&D.
• Monitor and manage cloud resources to meet production goals.
• Troubleshoot cloud-based solutions and implement enhancements.
• Plan data migrations to the cloud and participate in migrations.
• Manage installation or upgrade of NeoXam solutions.

Our Context

NeoXam Australia is expanding! Following the launch of our Sydney office in 2024 and our new Melbourne office in 2025, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Technical Support & Cloud Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll support our APAC clients, presales, and services team, while working closely with our global R&D experts. The position is based in either Sydney or Melbourne, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of NeoXam’s continued growth in the region.

The candidate will join the APAC team of experienced consultants to support and optimise NeoXam solutions, working closely with a senior support member in Melbourne as well as the support teams in Singapore and India:

• NeoXam DataHub: the most comprehensive, efficient and customizable solution for centralized data management available on the market. The solution acts as a hub, a central repository and a user-oriented data management tool for data used or produced by financial institutions.
• NeoXam IBOR: a uniquely independent and flexible Investment Book of Record, designed to provide Asset Managers with a single, comprehensive, and robust source of continuously up-to-date positions, valuations and forecasts, with increased quality, under multiple views.
• NeoXam Impress: an integrated solution for performance, attribution and reporting packs; flexible calculation methodologies including Modified Dietz, Brinson-Fachler; customizable workflows & templates to generate reports in corporate color themes, based on graphics and content; GIPS compliance. The solution could be standalone or connected to NeoXam Datahub & IBOR.
• NeoXam ARO: a flexible, scalable framework that adapts to changing market conditions, shortens implementation time, and enables rapid data adoption. More than just reconciliation, Aro is a comprehensive platform for total data control.

Your Missions

• Be the liaison of the software development teams located in the companies HQ in France, and to manage APAC support
• Be with his/her team, the first technical point of contact for NeoXam’s clients in APAC and provide product support expertise.
• Be the technical support for the sales consultancy team in the sales phase, and to consultancy team during the project implementation phase.
• Managing the internal copies of the client environments
• Performing the first level of analysis: anomalies, technical evolutions, reproduction of problems
• Be responsible to solve client issues from the first analysis and reproduction to the development of a software fix in Java and the management of support tickets.
• Be responsible with the software support team to document Datahub knowledge and features from a software support point of view.
• Manage the day-to-day work of the APAC Support service (taking over new support tickets, participating in conference calls, relationship with other teams…).
• Manage performance optimisation request from Customer or Project in link with R&D team if required.
• Monitors and manages cloud resources and performance to ensure they are meeting production goals.
• Troubleshoots issues with cloud-based solutions and services, and implements enhancements and fixes when necessary.
• Plan and implement the migration of data and other information to the cloud
• Be part of Cloud discussion and customer migrations.
• Manage technical installation or upgrade of the solutions.

Your Profile

• Engineering School, Degree / Master’s degree or equivalent.
• 4-6 years of working experience with Financial software implementation and/or support and IT Projects in the banking / financial industry.
• Knowledgeable in: XML APIs, Webservices (SOAP/REST), Web Application servers (Tomcat/JBoss/Webphere), Messaging, HMI SWING or SWT, OS (Unix and Windows), DBMS (Oracle, or SqlServe).
• Knowledgeable in development tools (Eclipse...) and the Scrum/Agile methodology.
• Knowledgeable in versioning tools like Git.
• Knowledgeable in Unix commands.
• Ability to do peer reviews and assess code.
• Ability to analyze, design and develop software with high operating constraints (robustness, performance, etc.)
• Independent, with own initiative and good interpersonal skills and are concerned about the quality of service provided
• Proactive and a real team player
• Fluent in English.
