Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Security Manager, Asia Pacific, to lead the Global Safety & Security program across the region. You will oversee physical security, employee safety, incident management and emergency preparedness, collaborating with stakeholders across Australia.

The role can be located at any Gallagher office in Australia. You bring a Bachelor's degree, 5–7+ years in corporate security, risk management and investigations, plus strong communication skills and the ability to travel up to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-7+ years' experience in corporate security, risk management, investigations, emergency management, law enforcement, military security or related field.
• Experience conducting security risk assessments and managing incidents.
• Knowledge of physical security systems and technologies.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and report-writing skills.
• Fluent English; regional languages helpful.
• Willingness to travel within Asia Pacific ~25%.
• Able to participate in after-hours incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of security standards, policies and programs across Asia Pacific.
• Identify security risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect people, assets and operations.
• Monitor regional risk trends including crime, civil unrest, natural hazards, regulatory changes.
• Conduct security assessments, audits and risk reviews across offices and operations.
• Support openings, relocations, acquisitions and closures with security requirements.
• Manage physical security measures: access control, CCTV, visitor management, intrusion detection.
• Coordinate responses to security incidents, investigations and crisis events.
• Support travel risk management and security planning for events and leadership meetings.
• Build partnerships with stakeholders and manage vendor performance.
• Provide security reporting, risk insights and recommendations; drive program improvements across regions.
