Job summary

Citi is seeking a Head of Security for Asia South & Japan, Asia North, and Australia clusters. Based in Sydney, you will own physical security, safety services, and risk management across fifteen markets, directing policy, incident response, and stakeholder engagement.

You will lead a distributed team, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with the GSIC. The role requires global security expertise and readiness to travel across the region.

Qualifications

• 15+ years progressive security management.
• 5+ years senior multi-geography leadership.
• Deep expertise in physical and personnel security across APAC.
• Proven crisis management and workplace violence prevention experience.
• Strong regulatory understanding across fifteen markets.
• Deep knowledge of JANA and Asia South geopolitics.
• Experience in Hong Kong or mainland China preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead security lifecycle across fifteen markets and manage nine direct reports.
• Maintain situational awareness and brief senior leadership on risks.
• Develop, implement, and audit protective security standards.
• Review risk assessments and develop mitigations for offices.
• Lead incident response and crisis management across clusters.
• Engage senior stakeholders across markets and agencies.
• Oversee security systems, budget, vendor management.
