Job summary

ElevenLabs is seeking a senior regional communications lead to build and protect our reputation across APAC, including India, Singapore, Japan, and Australia. You will shape how we are understood and run campaigns that demonstrate our value in major markets while ensuring alignment between global and regional teams.

You’ll shape positioning, turn global news into local stories, and create authentic local moments.

Qualifications

• Experience managing communications across APAC markets.
• Strong relationships with journalists at top-tier publications.
• Track record of pitching stories and handling corporate issues.
• Firm grasp of political, regulatory, economic, and cultural landscape in APAC.
• Ability to design unusually creative comms campaigns across channels.

Responsibilities

• Build and protect ElevenLabs' reputation across the APAC region.
• Design and run creative, high-engagement campaigns across media, social, and events.
• Shape the regional narrative by turning global news into local stories.
• Spot reputational risks early and mitigate them.
• Build relationships with journalists, influencers, customers, industry bodies, and events organizers.
• Support executives with media interviews and speaking opportunities.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, policy, legal and deployment teams to support global expansion.
• Define operating model for APAC comms and manage agencies as needed.

About the role

As we grow across APAC, we're looking for an exceptional regional comms lead to build and protect our reputation across the continent. You'll raise ElevenLabs' profile, shape how we're understood, and run campaigns that demonstrate our value in major markets across the region - including India, Singapore, Japan, and Australia. You'll also help build the infrastructure for an elite APAC comms operation, acting as the connective tissue between global and regional teams and ensuring everyone is well‑equipped to tell our story.

Responsibilities:

• As we grow across APAC, we're looking for an exceptional comms lead to build and protect our reputation across the region.

• Design and run creative, high engagement campaigns across media, social, and events

• Shape the regional narrative: developing our positioning, turning global news into local stories, and creating original local moments

• Spot reputational risks early and act to mitigate them

• Build relationships with journalists, influencers, customers, industry bodies, and event organisers

• Support executives with media interviews and speaking opportunities

• Partner across sales, marketing, policy, legal, and deployment – especially with the GMs and marketing leads who are spearheading our global expansion

• Define the operating model for comms in APAC, and manage agencies as required in specific markets.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience managing communications across multiple markets in APAC

• Strong relationships with journalists at top‑tier publications, plus a demonstrable track record of pitching stories and handling difficult corporate issues

• A firm grasp of the political, regulatory, economic, and cultural landscape in the region

• A knack for unusually creative comms campaigns, including non‑traditional tactics and channels

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• The ability to thrive in a fast‑moving environment with nascent operating models
