Job summary

Michael Page is assisting a leading international provider of industrial, equipment and infrastructure solutions with a CFO, APAC role based in Canberra. You will lead finance, IT and operations across multiple entities, shaping strategy, driving performance and delivering scalable processes to support future expansion.

The ideal candidate will be a commercially astute finance executive with CA/CPA/MBA qualifications and a track record in asset-intensive sectors, including finance transformation

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related discipline.
• CA, CPA, or MBA qualifications highly regarded.
• Executive finance leadership experience in asset-intensive sectors.
• Experience leading multi-site or multi-entity finance functions.
• Experience driving finance transformation and ERP implementations.
• Strong commercial acumen in financial planning and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead APAC financial strategy aligning with broader organisational objectives.
• Drive reporting, forecasting, budgeting, cash flow, governance, and risk across a complex multi-entity environment.
• Oversee capital allocation, asset performance, and commercial decision-making to maximise returns.
• Champion finance transformation, systems modernisation, and organisational redesign.
