Job summary

Gateway Health in Wodonga is seeking a part-time AOD clinician to support clients through comprehensive assessments, develop individualised treatment plans and connect them with internal and external services to meet needs.

This role is part-time (60.8 hours per fortnight) and falls under the Community Health Centre (Stand Alone Services) SACS Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022 level 4 or 5 depending on experience, with pay between $46.70 and $55.84 per hour plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Health Sciences, Behavioural and Social Sciences or relevant equivalent studies.
• Minimum 2 years experience in the AOD sector or with people experiencing AOD issues, or with people with complex needs including AOD issues as well as knowledge of the co-occuring intersectionality of AOD and other factors.
• Knowledge of AOD, mental health and family violence legislation and guidelines.
• Understanding of therapeutic approaches i.e. clients centred/strength based practice.

• Support clients through comprehensive AOD assessments.
• Develop individualised treatment plans and connect clients with internal and external services to meet their needs.
• Provide brief interventions and bridging support to help clients achieve positive outcomes.
