We’re partnering with a fast-paced, forward-thinking organisation that is centralising its supply chain function and embedding a new, best-practice Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. As they invest in structure, systems, and capability, they’re seeking a Demand Planning Manager to lead the charge on short- and long-term forecasting excellence during this critical transition phase.

About the Role This is a 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of permanency. You’ll be the bridge between commercial, supply chain, and operational teams, building robust demand plans that support effective decision-making and ensure supply readiness during a period of change and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and ownership of demand forecasts across key product categories
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and supply teams to deliver an integrated S&OP process
  • Drive forecast accuracy through data analysis, trend evaluation, and stakeholder alignment
  • Support system and process improvements as part of the broader supply chain transformation
  • Provide insightful reporting and scenario planning to support strategic business decisions
About You
  • Proven experience in demand planning or supply chain planning roles, ideally in FMCG, retail, or manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of S&OP principles and best practices
  • Comfortable working in a change environment and building processes from the ground up
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to see the bigger picture
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with forecasting software (e.g. SAP IBP, APO, Oracle, Anaplan) a plus
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
