Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking an Antenna & RF Engineer to design, test, and deploy RF front-end and antenna systems for space and ground segments.

You will work across EM design, system analysis, and calibration teams to deliver high-performance links with rigorous validation in lab and chamber environments. The role requires a Master’s degree in EE/CE, 3+ years in RF/antenna design, and proficiency with MATLAB or Python and CST/HFSS tools.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of antenna design or RF system experience.
• Experience with MATLAB or Python.
• Experience with mainstream antenna simulation tools (CST/HFSS, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize antenna and array architectures to meet RF goals.
• Own end-to-end RF performance from ADC/DAC through front-end to antenna.
• Use EM/RF design tools to simulate performance and coupling.
• Collaborate with calibration, software, DSP, ASIC teams on system strategy.
• Define antenna specifications at module, aperture, and system levels.
• Support prototype builds, chamber testing, and OTA validation.
• Provide feedback for antenna boards, modules, and test fixtures.
• Write design reports and present results to leadership.
• Develop and deploy code for testing, simulation, and validation.

Education

Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
