Job summary

Monash University, through the Monash Animal Research Platform (MARP), is seeking an Animal Technician to support ethical care and management of laboratory animals in Melbourne. The role emphasises daily husbandry, welfare monitoring and facility operations while maintaining high standards of animal welfare and safety.

Remuneration: $69,079 - $77,760 pa HEW Level 03 (plus 17% employer superannuation)

Join the MARP as an Animal Technician, supporting high-quality research through the ethical care and management of laboratory animals.

As part of a collaborative team, you will contribute to daily animal husbandry, welfare monitoring and facility operations, ensuring high standards of animal care, safety and compliance.

We are seeking a reliable, motivated and organised individual with a strong commitment to animal welfare, good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
