Job summary

SA Pathology in Adelaide, SA is offering a Registrar, Anatomical Pathology position as part of the training program toward FRCPA. Under supervision, you'll contribute to the delivery of Anatomical Pathology, Cytology and Mortuary services across a broad range of tissues and specimens.

You will participate in teaching and research activities, support medical education across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and develop expertise in diagnostic pathology in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent with general registration as a Medical Practitioner in Australia.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with pathologists, staff and administrators.
• Competency in anatomical pathology and ability to meet report turnaround times toward FRCPA requirements.
• Commitment to continuous learning and medical education throughout training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose diseases across a broad range of tissue, fluid and specimen types.
• Contribute to delivery of Anatomical Pathology, Cytology and Mortuary services.
• Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, case reviews, and self-directed learning.
• Engage in research activities to advance Anatomical Pathology.
