Job summary

ME Medical Recruitment is seeking a qualified Anatomical Pathologist to join a leading hospital on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. This permanent role offers full-time employment with flexible hours and the opportunity to contribute to a state-wide diagnostic network.

The role requires FRCPA or equivalent and eligibility for AHPRA Specialist Registration, with responsibilities including MDT participation, after-hours on-call, and a commitment to high-quality clinical practice.

• Demonstrated expertise in Anatomical Pathology.
• Familiarity with ISO 15189 and NATA requirements.

• Participate in frozen section services, MDTs (onsite and remote), and after-hours on-call roster.
• Maintain high professional standards and objectivity in clinical practice.

ME Medical Recruitment is currently representing a prestigious opportunity for a Staff Specialist / Senior Staff Specialist Anatomical Pathologist to join a leading hospital on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

This permanent full-time role (part-time considered) offers the chance to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to high-quality diagnostic services across a state-wide network.

Position Highlights

• Location: Sunshine Coast, Queensland
• Employment Type: Permanent, full-time (flexible hours considered)
• Remuneration: AUD $403,602 â– $504,547 + generous allowances (motor vehicle, professional development, retention & attraction)
• Classification: L18â–L27

• Fellowship with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA) or equivalent

• Familiarity with ISO 15189 and NATA Medical Testing Requirements
