Job summary

RSM Australia is seeking a skilled Lead, Data Analytics & AI to deliver analytics engagements that span risk, compliance and assurance. You will manage end-to-end projects, mentor staff, and translate technical findings into actionable business insights for clients in Sydney and across Australia.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, excellent communication, and a commercial mindset to grow analytics offerings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering data analytics projects.
• Strong project management and client relationship skills.
• Experience mentoring staff.
• Ability to translate technical findings into business insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Commercial mindset with experience managing engagement scope, budgets and profitability.
• Experience using SQL and/or Python; Power BI experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex analytics engagements across risk, compliance and assurance.
• Manage end-to-end engagements from proposal to delivery.
• Lead data-driven reviews with large datasets.
• Design analytics methods and testing approaches.
• Present findings to clients clearly and practically.
• Manage budgets, timelines and team resources.
• Coach and develop consultants and senior consultants.
• Collaborate with the Sydney Risk Advisory and Melbourne Data Analytics teams.
• Identify opportunities to grow analytics offerings.
