Ausbiz Consulting is seeking an experienced Analyst Programmer to join our Sydney team. You will drive end-to-end data warehousing implementations and enhancements, including ETL, SQL development, and reporting across BI platforms.

The role involves designing and migrating data warehousing solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and mentoring junior staff in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Degree in computer science or relevant field.
• Relevant work experience is desired.
• Proficiency in major languages such as Java, XML, SQL, PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of Oracle or SQL Server.
• Ability to work autonomously or in a team with stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills, written and spoken.
• Advanced knowledge of SDLC; Waterfall and Agile experience is desirable.
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
• Understanding SOA, web services/REST, and client-server tech.

Job Summary

Ausbiz Consulting is seeking an experienced and talented Analyst Programmer to join our dynamic team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and support of data warehousing projects and applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform ETL transformation processes and write complex SQL's using different databases such as Redshift(AWS), Netezza
• Create interactive reports and dashboards using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, scorecards and cubes using Relational Models, DMR and OLAP
• End-to-end implementation, enhancement and migration & support of data warehousing projects
• Analyze system requirements and develop technical designs
• Design, code, test and install applications programs either in one major language or in a range of programs across multiple platforms
• Develop and maintain operating and system documentatio
• Ensure systems are developed within agreed budgets and time frames and achieving necessary design and systems security standards
• Develop and maintain application software, cubes, data warehouses, databases, and cloud infrastructure
• Write, update and maintain technical program, end-user documentation, and operational procedures
• Provide technical mentoring and guidance to junior team members

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or relevant field
• Relevant work experience is desired
• Skills in one or more of the major programming languages (either 'legacy' or 'hot') such as Java, XML, SQL, PL/SQL
• Knowledge of one of the major relational database packages such as Oracle, SQL Server
• Ability to work autonomously or in a team environment, directly dealing with customers and other stakeholders
• Analytical thinker with a positive and helpful attitude
• Strong communication skills both oral and writte
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of the full SDLC. Experience in both Waterfall and Agile development project environments is highly desirable
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence
• Strong understanding of SOA, web services/REST, client server technology
