Job summary

Queensland Country Bank is seeking an AML Operations Analyst to help protect communities and businesses from financial crime. You’ll detect, prevent, and mitigate risks such as money laundering, terrorism financing, and fraud, working across risk, compliance, and customer service teams.

This full-time, 38-hour week role can be based at the Townsville Head Office or Brisbane Admin Office, offering a supportive culture and opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience reviewing and analysing alerts from transaction monitoring systems.
• Ability to prepare Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) for AUSTRAC submission.
• Onboarding and ongoing due diligence reviews for customers.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance and Customer Service teams.
• Strong communication when responding to queries or escalating matters.
• Desirable: Criminology/Finance/Business/Law background; AML tools experience.
