Westpac in New South Wales is seeking a hands-on Financial Crime Surveillance Analyst to support AML/CTF investigations and ensure timely documentation. You will manage escalations for high‑risk customers and work closely with onshore and offshore teams in a hybrid, full‑time role.

You will apply your AML/CTF knowledge, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail to deliver high-quality outcomes, stay updated with regulatory changes, and contribute to continuous improvement while balancing

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of AML/CTF operations and risk management principles.

• Proven experience in stakeholder relationships within operational teams.

Responsabilités

• Investigate UMRs and AML/CTF/Sanctions events within agreed timeframes with accurate documentation.
• Escalate high-risk customers and potential compliance breaches per Financial Crime Risk Standards.
• Maintain adherence to policies, controls and privacy while handling sensitive information.
• Support Financial Crime Surveillance team and collaborate with onshore/offshore stakeholders.
• Stay updated on legislative changes and industry trends to ensure best practice.
