Clayton Utz in Sydney is seeking a motivated Analyst to join the National Risk Team to help ensure compliance with AML/CTF laws. You will work under the AML/CTF Team Leader to conduct initial due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and maintain client records.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in law, business, finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Conduct initial CDD, reviewing client documentation and risk screenings.
• Perform ongoing monitoring and maintain client risk assessments.
• Identify higher risk issues and perform enhanced CDD where needed.
• Monitor relationships and transactions to detect AML/CTF risks.
• Interpret regulations and internal AML/CTF policies to support decisions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of AML/CTF processes.
• Respond to stakeholder queries regarding CDD processes.
