PRO-MEDIC Services Victoria (PSV) is a licensed, leading Non-Emergency Patient Transport provider, proudly operating across Bayside and Metropolitan Melbourne with branches in Seaford, Moorabbin, and Port Melbourne.

We work in close partnership with the Victorian Government Emergency Ambulance Service, providing aspiring paramedics with invaluable hands-on exposure to the pre-hospital and ambulance sector. Many of our graduate paramedics successfully progress into careers with the Emergency Ambulance Service, benefiting from the unique stepping-stone pathway PSV offers toward their long-term career goals.

We are now inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified Ambulance Transport Attendants (ATAs) and Patient Transport Officers (PTOs) who are eager to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team.

Key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Ensuring full compliance with organisational policies and procedures
  • Acting as the primary carer in the assessment, treatment and transport management of patients
  • Performing as part of a team to deliver high quality treatment in a timely, safe and efficient manner
  • Ensuring compliance with patient care documentation requirements
  • Adhering to all relevant regulations and clinical practice
  • Maintaining currency of qualifications by undertaking training and updates as required
  • Maintaining of work areas

Successful applicants will need to demonstrate:

  • Ability to take a leadership role within the team to ensure high standards of patient care and safety
  • Clear communication and good interpersonal skills
  • Able to work reasonable additional hours if required
  • Physically capable of performing patient transfers

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance) or Emergency Health Care
  • Minimum Certificate III Non-Emergency Patient Transport for PTOs
  • Full Unrestricted Current Victorian driver's licence
  • Current Working with Children's Check (Employment)
  • Current National Police Check
  • Immunisation Status/Serology reports - as per AV & Victorian Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT) Regulations

Applicants must hold the required qualifications and be available for employment, including rotating shifts.
Successful applicants will be required to work a full rotating roster that includes days, evenings, weekends and public holidays across all branch locations
