Job summary

GMK Logistics in Epping, Melbourne, is hiring a casual AM Shift Transport Loader for our brand-new facility. You will load/unload inbound and outbound freight, operate counterbalance forklifts, and perform load restraint tasks in a safe, team-focused environment.

Requirements include a current LF Forklift License (min 2 years), good physical fitness, reliability and strong teamwork. A pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test apply.

Qualifications

• A current and valid LF Forklift License (minimum 2 years' experience).
• Physically fit – capable of safely lifting up to 15–20kg.
• Previous logistics or warehouse experience is highly regarded.
• Experience with prong forklifts or machine operation is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight.
• Perform load restraint tasks – including opening/closing curtains and strapping freight.
• Ensure a clean, organised and safe work environment.
• Support specialised flooring logistics operations using modern tools and techniques.
• Contribute positively to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
