Job summary

Freedom Kitchens in Gosford, NSW, Australia, is seeking a hands-on metal fabrication operator to run CNC machines and drop saws, producing shelving, doors, and frames for high-end kitchen and wardrobe manufacturing. The role includes preparing doors for glass inserts and quality inspections.

You will work with a friendly team, follow specifications to ensure correct dimensions, and support ongoing business needs with reliability and strong workmanship.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate metal machinery to produce parts to specification and assemble components
• Prepare handles and insert aluminium handles into pre-machined doors
• Prepare doors and insert glass
• Inspection of products
• Confirm products are to the required dimensions and quality standards are met
• Ensure that finishing product is supplied in the correct size and meet quality standards
• General duties as required to support business requirements

About The Role

This position will contribute to the success of the Company through ensuring quality aluminium products are made to specification. Using CNC machines as well as metal saws to produce shelving, doors and frames for high end kitchen and wardrobe manufacturing. The position will also include the preparation of doors for glass inserts and completion of these doors.

The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For:

• Operate metal machinery to produce parts to specification and assemble components
• Prepare handles and insert aluminium handles into pre-machined doors
• Prepare doors and insert glass
• Inspection of products
• Confirm products are to the required dimensions and quality standards are met
• Ensure that all finishing product is supplied in the correct size and meet quality standards
