Job summary

DHL Group in Altona is hiring a Storeperson to support busy warehousing operations. You will efficiently process inbound and outbound orders, perform put-aways, and replenish stock while using RF scanners and a Warehouse Management System.

This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork; forklift experience desirable; training and KPI bonuses offered; uniforms provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a high-volume warehouse environment.
• Forklift Licence highly desirable.
• Proven experience picking, packing, checking, and dispatching orders.
• Previous use of warehouse management systems including RF scanners.
• Ability to work in a team with focus on delivering excellent service.
• Knowledge of inventory management.

Join the DHL team as a Storeperson and contribute to delivering exceptional warehouse operations that surpass our customer's expectations. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

• Efficiently processing both inbound and outbound orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Performing put-aways of goods into designated locations, maintaining organisation and accessibility.
• Timely replenishment of stock to ensure availability and smooth operations.
• Utilizing handheld technology, such as RF scanners, to facilitate order processing and inventory management.
• Operating a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to print labels and verify data accuracy.
• Supporting stocktakes as required to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Demonstrating awareness of potential hazards and actively contributing to a safe working environment.
