Health is recruiting an Allied Health Assistant for the ACRPC Casual Pool at Modbury Hospital, Adelaid e North. The role supports patients to maximise independence, delivers therapy programs, and assists with mobility and rehabilitation under supervision.

The position is casual until 28 January 2028, with the minimum salary equivalent to AHA2 pro‑rated. Benefits include salary packaging, flexible work arrangements and access to professional development within a public health network.

*This role attracts a fixed allowance that ensures a minimum salary equivalent to AHA2 (third increment) pro-rated, based on the Undertaking as within the Allied Health Professionals, Assistants and Psychologists Enterprise Agreement 2025.

Where You'll Make an Impact

As an Allied Health Assistant within the Acute Care, Rehabilitation and Palliative Care (ACRPC) Casual Pool, you'll work alongside physiotherapists, occupational therapists, other allied health clinicians, nursing and medical staff, to support patient care. This is a casual position through to 28 January 2028.

• Deliver therapy programs under the supervision of qualified allied health professionals
• Assist with patient mobility, exercise programs, and functional rehabilitation activities
• Support the preparation and maintenance of therapy equipment and clinical areas
• Contribute to a safe, person‑centred care environment across the ACRPC setting

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated ability to follow clinical instructions and work within a supervised allied health model
• Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, respectful approach with patients of varying needs
• Understanding of, or willingness to learn, safe patient handling techniques
• Ability to work flexibly across casual shifts within a busy environment
• Current or eligible SA Health employment screening, including DCSI clearance

To be eligible for this position, you mustpossess or be currently undertaking Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance
