Seymour Health is seeking an Allied Health Assistant to support exercise programs and intake assessments within the Ambulatory Care Centre. The role involves multi-disciplinary care across Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Diabetes Education, and related services in Seymour, Victoria.
Suitable applicants will have a Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, an interest in chronic disease, and strong communication and documentation skills.
The Allied Health Assistant is responsible for assisting with exercise programs in groups and individual programs, under the supervision of allied health professionals, intake processes which include initial needs identification and assessments, stores ordering, group session support and other tasks as directed.
An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Allied Health Assistant to join the Ambulatory Care Centre at Seymour Health on a Fixed-term Part-time basis, 2.5 days per week (20 hours) until April 2027.
The Position involves multi-disciplinary care and support for clients accessing Physiotherapy, Occupation Therapy, Dietician, Diabetes Education, HARP, Social Work and HIP program.
