Job summary

Queensland Health's Cassowary Area Community Health invites you to join as an Allied Health Assistant. You will support therapeutic programs and patient care activities under clinical supervision, delivering high-quality, client-focused care across community health settings.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, participate in planning meetings, and help with induction and skill development for junior staff and students.

About you:

In your new role you will:

• Provide a defined range of interventions as prescribed by the Allied Health Professional (AHP) under general direction including using decision support tools, clinical pathways and patient guidelines.
• Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to team meetings, care coordination and planning meetings as directed by the Allied Health Professional.
• Provide induction and orientation including competency-based training and skill development to less experienced Allied Health Assistants and work experience students within the scope of practice.
