Job summary

Swissport is hiring Ramp Service Agents and Baggage Handlers to support airport operations on the tarmac. Roles involve loading/unloading baggage and cargo, assisting with aircraft pushback, and ensuring safety and efficiency across rotating shifts.

The position offers a dynamic work environment with early mornings, late shifts, and weekends. Applicants must be 18+, physically able to lift up to 32kg, and have Australian work rights. Training is provided and uniforms are supplied.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift up to 32kg repeatedly.
• Flexible to work early mornings, weekends.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Australian resident with unlimited work rights.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload baggage and cargo.
• Transfer luggage to/from aircraft safely.
• Handle baggage up to 35kg repetitively.
• Operate in various weather and confined spaces.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage baggage flow for departing and arriving flights.
