Job summary

Adelaide Airport Limited is seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Team Leader to oversee landside buildings, infrastructure and services across Adelaide and Parafield Airports. You will coordinate planned, preventive and reactive maintenance while balancing asset condition and customer requirements.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will manage contractors, safety compliance and budget delivery, support lifecycle planning and deliver reliable, cost-effective facilities

Qualifications

• Substantial facilities maintenance experience in a live operational environment.
• Experience managing contractors, service providers, quotations and maintenance expenditure.
• Demonstrated experience prioritising, planning and delivering maintenance programs.
• Strong knowledge of WHS, contractor management, permits, JSEAs, SWMSs and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day maintenance management of landside buildings, infrastructure, precincts and services across Adelaide and Parafield Airport sites.
• Develop, coordinate and monitor planned, preventive and reactive maintenance programs through the CMMS.
• Maintain compliance with WHS, environmental, building, aviation and company requirements, including permits, JSEAs, SWMSs, inspections and corrective actions.
• Work closely with the Asset Engineering Team to monitor asset condition, service reliability and recurring faults.
• Work closely with AAL Property on asset performance, lifecycle planning and maintenance priorities.
• Build effective relationships with tenants, customers, contractors and internal stakeholders, communicating works and managing service impacts.
• Scope works, coordinate quotations and procurement, manage contractor performance and ensure safe, compliant and cost-effective delivery.
• Work closely with the Property Asset Manager to deliver OPEX and CAPEX expenditure, forecast maintenance requirements and control costs.
• Coordinate day-to-day priorities and provide practical guidance and support to your direct report, contractors and internal teams.
• Contribute to Airport Emergency Response activities as required.
• Support the Facilities Maintenance on-call roster and undertake irregular hours or night work where operationally required.
