Job summary

Omni is offering an Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) position based in Perth/Jandakot. You will learn under experienced LAMEs and aviation professionals, gaining hands-on experience while earning an income and pursuing a nationally recognised trade qualification.

You'll be mentored to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft systems, with a focus on aviation safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Be Australian citizen
• Eligible to hold and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduled maintenance activities in a dynamic hangar environment.
• Learn to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems under mentorship.
• Develop a strong understanding of aviation safety, quality standards and industry regulations.
• Contribute to keeping aircraft mission-ready and airworthy while building a long-term career in aerospace.
