Job summary

Deepchill Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast seeks a skilled Service Technician to install and repair air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. You will ensure gear is in good working order before leaving sites and update Service M8 with job notes, photos, and progress.

The role requires a current air conditioning qualification, a minimum of two years in a similar role, and a valid driver's license. You will manage paperwork for deposits, progress invoices, and final invoices, and deliver quick,

Responsibilities

• Attends jobs to install or repair air conditioning equipment.
• Attends jobs to install or repair refrigeration equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is in good working order before leaving job sites.
• Submit correct paperwork for deposits, progress and final invoices.
• Update photos, notes and information in Service M8 for each job.
• Keep knowledge of products up to date.
• Handle customer complaints and provide quick, efficient solutions.
• Assist with any other duties to complete jobs efficiently and safely.
• Follow Occupational Health and Safety procedures and guidelines.

Job description

A position is available in our Service Dept with duties as follows:

Attends jobs as directed to install or repair air conditioning equipment

Attends jobs as directed to install or repair refrigeration equipment

Ensuring all equipment is in good working order before leaving job sites

Ensure all correct paperwork is submitted to ensure deposit/progress/final invoices are raised by accounts

To ensure any necessary pictures, notes or other information is updated to jobs in Service M8

Ensure knowledge of products available is up to date

To handle customer complaints and provide quick and efficient solutions to ensure 100% satisfaction

Other duties as necessary to ensure jobs are completed correctly and in a time efficient manner

Follow Occupational Health and Safety Procedures and guidelines.

The ideal candidate should have air conditioning qualifications and a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role. A drivers licence is essential as well as time management skills, ability to think independently, work to deadlines and move flexibly and quickly between tasks.
