Job summary

Northbridge IT Recruitment Propr in Melbourne is hiring a Domain Architect – AI Storage for a 12-month contract with potential permanent placement. The role focuses on designing, deploying and optimizing HPC storage for large-scale AI factories and GPU clusters.

You will work with NVIDIA technologies, NVMe-oF and high-throughput storage fabrics, integrating with Kubernetes/OpenShift and defining scalable storage architectures for AI workloads.

Qualifications

• Experience designing high-performance HPC/AI storage in GPU labs.
• Hands-on knowledge of parallel file systems: WEKA, Lustre, BeeGFS, GPFS.
• Experience with NVMe-oF, RDMA, and object storage for AI datasets.
• Strong Linux systems knowledge and automation with Python/Ansible/Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and optimise storage for GPU clusters and AI factories.
• Lead high-performance parallel file systems implementations.
• Architect high-throughput storage fabrics for AI training and inference.
• Integrate storage with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Develop automation for deployment with Python, Ansible or Terraform.
