Job summary

World Wide Technology is seeking a Domain Architect - AI Compute to be the primary technical authority for high-performance GPU compute fleets. You will bridge architectural design with hands-on execution, provisioning clusters, and guiding pre-sales SME activities.

You will oversee Day 2 handover, define standard operating environments, and ensure integration with client IAM and storage. Expect a 60/40 delivery to pre-sales split and frequent collaboration with enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead physical provisioning of clusters: NVIDIA NVL72, DGX SuperPOD, BasePOD.
• Utilise NVIDIA Base Command Manager (BCM) for diskless booting, firmware management, and OS hardening.
• Establish monitoring with NVIDIA Mission Control.
• Execute Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) workflows to transform bare-metal hardware into production-ready nodes.
• Define and enforce Fair Share policies, MIG quotas, and pre-emption for multi-tenant environments.
• Ensure orchestration layers respect NUMA affinity and PCIe topologies for max performance.
• Deploy management planes like Rafay or Armada for multi-cluster management and observability.
• Implement telemetry with DCGM for GPU health, thermal throttling, and XID error monitoring.
• Lead Day 2 handover; integrate with client identity providers and storage backends.
• Perform kernel tuning and HPC optimizations (huge pages, sysctl) for high-bandwidth fabrics.
• Prepare Labour Estimates (LOE) for SOWs and define Standard Operating Environment (SOE).
• Own Compute BoM details; ensure alignment with NVIDIA HCL and reference architectures.
• Lead technical discovery workshops on workloads (ML vs LLM inference/training).
• Demonstrate NVIDIA ecosystem expertise (Hopper, Grace-Hopper, Blackwell) and NVL72 rack-scale integration.
