Job summary

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission is seeking an AI Solutions Specialist to design, prototype, configure and support AI-enabled solutions across platforms. You will translate business needs into practical technology options while aligning with governance, privacy, and risk requirements.

You will work with Digital and business teams to prototype, test and implement scalable AI-enabled workflows and integrations, ensuring user-centred design and secure operations.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, configuring, developing or integrating cloud-based software, automation, data or AI-enabled solutions.
• Applied understanding of generative AI, knowledge retrieval, automation, intelligent assistants and AI-enabled workflow solutions.
• Ability to design and undertake technical tests and evaluations, analyse results and communicate limits and risks clearly
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex technical environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with technical specialists, governance bodies, operational staff
• Ability to work with reasonable autonomy, manage competing priorities and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to the APS Values, Employment Principles and Code of Conduct.
• Must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain a baseline security clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice regarding implementation approaches and risks for AI capability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to support governance, assurance, audit and risk management processes.
• Conduct testing, QA and validation activities to ensure solutions are accurate, reliable, accessible, secure and compliant with governance and privacy requirements.
• Develop rapid prototypes, proofs of concept and minimum viable solutions to validate feasibility and value.
• Configure and develop AI-enabled applications, assistants, and workflow integrations.
