Job summary

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission invites applications for an AI Solutions Specialist to translate business needs into AI-enabled, governance-aligned technology solutions. You will prototype and implement rapid AI-enabled apps, document technical decisions, and work with Digital teams to ensure compliant, secure deployment.

In this role you will contribute to enterprise integration, automation and workflow improvements, while maintaining a strong focus on user-centred design and risk

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience designing, configuring, developing or integrating cloud-based software, automation, data or AI-enabled solutions.
• Applied understanding of AI technologies including generative AI, knowledge retrieval, automation, intelligent assistants and AI-enabled workflows.
• Ability to design and undertake technical tests and evaluations, analyse results and communicate limitations and risks clearly.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex technical environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical specialists, governance bodies and operational staff.
• Ability to work with autonomy, manage competing priorities and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute technical advice regarding implementation approaches and risks to AI capability.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for governance, assurance, audit and risk management.
• Conduct testing, QA and validation to ensure accuracy, accessibility, security and governance compliance.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimisation and continuous improvement.
• Develop rapid prototypes, proofs of concept and minimum viable solutions to validate feasibility and value.
• Identify limitations, assumptions, risks and conditions for safe implementation.
• Configure and develop AI-enabled apps, assistants and workflows; build reusable components and connectors.
