Lendi Group, a leading digital platform, is hiring a Software Engineer – AI in Sydney on a 12-month fixed-term mat leave cover with hybrid work (2 days in office). You will design and build AI-powered applications, agentic systems, and scalable services across a full-stack stack using TypeScript, Node.js and React.

You will work on Greenfield projects, leverage retrieval-augmented generation, orchestration and evaluation, and contribute to architectural decisions.

Formación

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience in TypeScript, Node.js and React, and a solid understanding of APIs, backend services, databases and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions) and MongoDB/DynamoDB.
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI and agentic systems with demonstrated project work or research.
• Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, orchestration, evaluation, and tracing.
• Proactive, ownership-driven approach and strong collaboration across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain AI-powered applications and agentic systems across Lendi Group's platform.
• Develop full-stack solutions using TypeScript, Node.js and React across frontend and backend.
• Build and integrate AI agents and intelligent workflows with RAG and orchestration.
• Contribute to Greenfield projects shaping architecture and implementation approaches.
• Develop scalable, event-driven services using AWS, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Kafka and cloud-native infra.
• Own engineering work from design to production and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues using logs and tracing.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews and collaborative problem-solving.
• Deliver iterative solutions balancing speed, quality, scalability and maintainability.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and validate outputs to maintain quality.
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and practices.
