Job summary

Interpro is seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence Cyber Security Engineer to secure AI adoption within enterprise environments in Canberra. The role focuses on governance, risk controls, and compliance across AI initiatives in a large security-focused setting.

You will lead AI governance, risk assessments, and security controls, collaborating with security teams, architects, and policy stakeholders to bridge innovation and security while ensuring regulatory alignment and data protection.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in AI governance, technology risk, cyber security governance, or information security.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 security tooling and data protection controls.
• Ability to translate complex AI/cyber security concepts for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of AI governance, security controls and risk management.
• Define AI governance strategies and advise stakeholders on responsible AI deployment.
• Design AI security control frameworks aligned with privacy, risk, and compliance.
